Script and Item Use:
Our service provides you with a electronic script to help treat dental related disorders, which is for your personal use only. Do not share any items provided on the script with others and always follow usage instructions.
Requirements for obtaining a script to treat dental infections:
Patients must demonstrate evidence of a swelling/abscess or infection in the mouth. The dentist will require video/picture evidence of any swelling/abscess that is present, or other specific information in relation to this.
If the patient does not show evidence of a swelling/abscess or spreading of infection, a script to treat dental infections will not be given.
Abx and Responsible Use, our Commitment:
We are dedicated to promoting the responsible and careful utilisation of Abx to safeguard their effectiveness for both present and future generations. Abx are invaluable in treating bacterial infections, but their excessive use can lead to resistance. We advise against recurrently requesting Abx for conditions that don't warrant them. Our healthcare professionals adhere to evidence-based guidelines and exercise clinical judgment. Using Abx only when medically required preserves their potency for yourself and the broader community. Your willingness to use Abx exclusively when medically warranted safeguards your health and preserves their effectiveness. We encourage open communication with our healthcare team. Responsible Abx use is a collective responsibility, and we value your commitment to combat Abx resistance. Please provide honest and accurate information when answering to questions in relation to obtaining a script for Abx.
Script Limitations:
We do not provide a script for controlled or restricted substances as defined in The Misuse of Substances Regulations 2001.
Not a Replacement for Regular Dental Care:
This service does not intend to replace your regular dentist or other healthcare specialists. Seek advice or treatment from qualified dental practitioners when needed.
Response Time:
We aim to respond to WhatsApp messages as quickly as possible, but please understand that there might be a waiting period, and responses might extend to the next working day.
Emergency Situations:
If you are experiencing a facial swelling that is spreading under the eye (causing eye closure) and/or it's spreading to the side of the face and towards the throat (causing difficulty in breathing) and/or you have a body temperature above 39.5°C,
this is classed as an emergency. Please call 999 or go directly to the Accident and Emergency.
Sharing Information with GP/Dentist:
The practitioner may share your information with your GP or dentist if deemed clinically necessary unless you state otherwise.
Private Script and Dispensing Costs:
Please be aware that this is a private script, and you will be personally liable for any dispensing costs incurred, which will vary depending on the pharmacy used.
Script Validity:
Advanced electronically signed private Scripts are valid across the UK, including Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Delivery and Use in European Countries:
Script items can be delivered to your home in the UK with an additional charge. Acceptance of a script, provided by a UK dentist, in EU countries depends on their regulations and pharmacies. We will try to assist with acceptance, but we cannot guarantee it.
Refund Policy:
If you change your mind before the electronic script is initiated, a full refund will be given. If the script has been initiated, a partial refund with an admin fee of £4.99 will apply. A refund will NOT be given if the pharmacist has marked the script as dispensed.
Patient Responsibility:
It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information when requesting a script. You must inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you are currently taking when obtaining a script.
WhatsApp Usage:
We use WhatsApp as a means of communication with our patients. By providing your contact number and using WhatsApp to communicate with us, you are consenting to this mode of communication.
